Step 1: Connect Headset Cable to your computer
Oculus CEO Palmer Luckey has a message for Apple: build computers with better GPUs and then maybe we'll add Mac compatibility to Oculus Rift. In fact, his actual words were even more blunt. The Oculus Rift S and Rift are currently optimized to work with PC computers. Oculus founder Palmer Luckey has poured water on the idea of his Rift virtual reality headset supporting the Mac by saying that Apple doesn't make any computers powerful enough to run it.
DIY Programmed Oculus Rift DK1 Screen 7' LCD Panel $84.90; Head-Mounted Display Case: Forney 55320 Goggles $14.82. Elmer's Chalk Foam Boards, 8 x 10 Inches, Black, 3-Count $15.51. 5x pocket loupe magnifier with Aspheric Lens $12.95 x2 = $25.90. Head Tracking: DIY Oculus Rift DK1 Head Motion Tracker $49.90.
